chocolate peanut butter bars
1 half-sheet pan

2 cupsall-purpose flour
2 cupsrolled oats
1 cupgranulated sugar
1 cuplight brown sugar
1 teaspoonbaking soda
½ teaspoonkosher salt
1 cupunsalted butter, softened
2/3 cuppeanut butter
1 teaspoonvanilla extract
2eggs
[TOPPING]
12 ouncessemisweet chocolate chips
2/3 cuppowdered sugar
¼ cuppeanut butter
2 to 4 tablespoonswhole milk
  1. Combine all bar ingredients on low speed until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. Press mixture into bottom of greased half-sheet pan.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  4. Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let stand 5 minutes to melt. Spread evenly.
  5. Combine powdered sugar, peanut butter and milk. Drizzle over top of bars.
