Omit garlic, pine nuts, and lemon to serve with Maple Miso Sauce.
1 poundBrussels sprouts
1 headgarlic, cloves separated and peeled
extra virgin olive oil
kosher salt
ground black pepper
crushed red pepper flakes
3 tablepoonstoasted pine nuts
lemon
  1. Heat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Trim ends of Brussels sprouts and cut each in half.
  3. Toss Brussels sprouts and garlic with olive oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  4. Roast for 20-25 minutes until browned.
  5. Toss with pine nuts, squeeze of lemon, and additional salt.
