bananas foster
2 servings
2 tablespoonsunsalted butter
¼ cuplight brown sugar
2 tablespoonsbanana liqueur
1/8 teaspoonground cinnamon
2ripe bananas, cut lengthwise, then quartered
1 tablespoondark rum
2 scoopsvanilla ice cream
  1. Melt butter with brown sugar, liqueur, and cinnamon.
  2. Sauté bananas until tender.
  3. Remove from heat. Add rum. Flame.
  4. Serve with ice cream.
