- Cut bread into ½-inch slices. Let dry on racks overnight.
- Mix custard ingredients. Strain through chinois.
- Submerge bread slices in custard 30 seconds each. Let sit on rack to absorb.
- Cook toast on 300 degree griddle for 3 minutes per side.
