4 gramsgrated orange zest
4 gramsvanilla extract
43 gramshoney
5 gramskosher salt
14 gramsbourbon
  1. Cut bread into ½-inch slices. Let dry on racks overnight.
  2. Mix custard ingredients. Strain through chinois.
  3. Submerge bread slices in custard 30 seconds each. Let sit on rack to absorb.
  4. Cook toast on 300 degree griddle for 3 minutes per side.
