3 pounds for 24 dinner rolls or 12 sandwich buns to fit one half-sheet pan
96 grams | vegetable shortening |
104 grams | granulated sugar |
10 grams | kosher salt |
244 grams | whole milk |
151 grams | eggs, lightly beaten |
748 grams | all-purpose flour |
7 grams | active dry yeast |
- Heat shortening, sugar, salt and milk to just dissolve sugar and melt shortening. Allow to cool slightly. Pour into bread machine.
- Add remaining ingredients in order to bread machine.
- Process dough on bread machine's dough setting.
- Shape dough and let rise.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
